Membership dues statements are mailed each fall for the following year. All memberships expire December 31. Your timely payment means you won't miss a beat when it comes to discounted Annual Meeting registration, reduced hotel reservation rates at the annual meeting and either complimentary or discounted print subscriptions to the International Journal of Hyperthermia.
For your convenience, we've reprinted below answers to some frequently asked questions regarding STM memberships. If you have any other questions, call membership services at (800) 627-0326 Ext. 211.
What period does my dues payment cover?
STM's fiscal year is January 1st through December 31st and memberships are sold on the same calendar-year basis. Dues are not prorated if joining mid-year.
Are my STM annual dues tax deductible?
Dues to the STM are not deductible as a charitable contribution but may be deductible as an ordinary and necessary business expense. Check with your accountant regarding tax issues.
When should I pay my annual dues?
Dues notices are distributed in October and should be paid as soon as possible to guarantee receiving membership benefits without interruption. If unpaid after 12/31, a member will be dropped and member benefits will be suspended. If paying by credit card you can renew online or via fax.
What form of payment does the STM accept?
You can pay your dues with a check drawn on a US Bank, or pay using a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card. No other charge cards are accepted. E-mail us for wire transfer information.
